We hire for curiosity
and follow-through
Certifications matter and they are not the bar. The bar is whether you can explain a trade-off to a CFO in the morning and implement it in the afternoon — and whether you will say the uncomfortable thing when a plan is not working.
A consultancy that does not run on utilisation
Utilisation targets are why consultants end up on engagements they should have refused. We measure delivery leads on client outcomes and repeat engagement instead, which changes what gets sold.
It also means we turn work down — engagements where the outcome is not achievable or nobody on the client side owns the result. It costs revenue and it saves everyone a bad year.
Rotation by design
Move between cloud, data and AI engagements. Nobody gets parked on one client for three years unless they want to be.
Funded certification
Exam fees, study leave and a first re-sit funded without a business case. Study is booked into capacity, not expected after hours.
Architecture forum
Fortnightly internal review where live designs get challenged. Attendance is paid time and it is where most of our standards originate.
Real hybrid
Two days in office, the rest wherever you work best. Client site when the engagement needs it, which is less often than clients initially assume.
Where we are hiring
Sydney · Full time
Senior Cloud Consultant — Migration
Lead migration architecture and delivery for regulated clients. You have run at least one wave-based migration end to end and know why sequencing by team ownership fails.
Sydney · Full time
Machine Learning Engineer — Generative AI
Build production RAG and agent systems on Bedrock, with the evaluation harness alongside. Retrieval engineering experience matters more here than model training experience.
Sydney · Full time
Platform Engineer — Kubernetes
Build landing zones and internal developer platforms in Terraform and EKS. Strong opinions about golden paths welcome, provided you have watched one get adopted.
Sydney · Full time
Senior Data Engineer — Lakehouse
Streaming and batch ingestion, Iceberg, dbt and the data contracts that stop pipelines failing quietly. You have debugged a late-arrival problem at three in the morning.
Sydney · Full time
Cloud Security Consultant
Posture assessment, detection engineering and evidence automation for regulated clients. Essential Eight or CPS 234 experience is a strong advantage.
Sydney · 2027 intake
Graduate Consultant Program
Twelve months rotating across cloud, data and AI engagements with a named mentor and a funded certification pathway. Applications open February 2027.
Four steps, about two weeks
No take-home assignment that consumes your weekend, and no puzzle questions.
Intro conversation — 30 minutes
With the practice lead you would report to. What you are looking for, what we actually do, and whether there is a fit worth pursuing.
Technical conversation — 90 minutes
A real architecture problem from a past engagement, discussed as a conversation. We are interested in how you reason and what you ask, not whether you recall a service limit.
Client-facing scenario — 60 minutes
Explain a technical trade-off to a non-technical stakeholder. This is most of the job and it is where most candidates are actually differentiated.
Offer conversation
With the managing director. Salary band stated upfront, not negotiated from an anchor. Feedback provided either way, in writing, within three business days.
Three things, consistently
Curiosity
You want to know why the system behaves that way, not just how to work around it. The best debugging stories in the interview usually come from this.
Follow-through
You finish things, including the unglamorous last twenty per cent. Documentation, runbooks and handover are part of the work, not an afterthought.
Candour
You will tell a client something they do not want to hear, in a way they can act on. This is the hardest one to teach and the one we weight most heavily.
Nothing listed that fits?
We hire ahead of demand for strong people. Tell us what you want to be working on and we will tell you honestly whether we have it.
